Eye drops

These are the most common forms of treatment and usually the first type of treatment tried. Drops usually reduce the production or increase the outflow of aqueous humour. It is important to take your drop(s) exactly as prescribed. Since drops can have side effects, your ophthalmologist will prescribe the one best suited to you.

If taking more than one eye drop, try to allow five minutes between each to prevent dilution.
