Cataract Surgery

CESP (Gloucestershire) is able to offer cataract surgery at 5 sites in the county, the variation in prices is a reflection of the different hospital charges. Irrespective of the hospital you choose, all surgery will be performed by a consultant surgeon working with a consultant anaesthetist, using the same state of the art equipment and intraocular lenses.

The Fixed Price Cataract Surgery package includes the following;

1. Surgeon’s fee
2. Anaesthetist’s fee
3. Hospital charges
4. Cost of all follow up visits within 1 month of surgery

The cost does not include the cost of the initial consultation and biometry.
