In 2003 seven Consultant eye surgeons in Gloucestershire formed ACES (Associated Consultant Eye Surgeons), which was the first eye surgeons partnership in the UK. As ACES we have been providing first class, comprehensive and affordable private eye care to patients in Gloucestershire for the last 3 years. In January 2006 we joined forces with colleagues across the country and founded CESP UK which is the largest eye surgeons partnership in the world.

At present CESP (Gloucestershire) is only able to offer treatment to private patients but hope to offer services to NHS patients in the future

As well as being general ophthalmologists with a wealth of experience in small incision cataract surgery, each consultant has additional specialist expertise in other fields of eye surgery. This means that, irrespective of your eye condition, we can guarantee that all patients referred to CESP (Gloucestershire) will be seen by a consultant with specialist knowledge of their condition and its treatment.

We are able to offer prompt appointments at a convenient time in a wide variety of locations throughout Gloucestershire as well as surgery in five hospitals.

All CESP patients will be seen by the same consultant at every clinic visit and their surgery, if needed, will be carried out by the same consultant. Furthermore, for additional peace of mind 24 hour on call consultant cover is available for all CESP patients.
