He has done two clinical glaucoma fellowships at Moorfields Eye Hospital, St Thomas' Hospital and Kings College Hospital in London and a corneal and external eye disease fellowship at St George's and Moorfields Eye Hospitals.
He is the principal investigator at Queen Mary's Sidcup Hospital for international multi-centre laser and glaucoma surgery trials.
He teaches at the City University, London and has written two book chapters.
